    Description

72H bell with 73H stacked double valve section (has D in open wrap and stock flat-E tuning slides).
Open wrap and split triggers with ball-in-socket linkage modified by Robb Stewart in Los Angeles.
Tuning slide converted to J-pipe by Zig Kanstul shortly before he passed away.
Horn was gold lacquered also by Kanstul.
Edwards bullet brace added for comfortable ergonomics.
Inner valve ports opened by Osmun.
Comes with two hand slides with lightweight in-slide tuning also converted by Zig Kanstul.
Slide bores are .562/.562 and .547/.562 with Kanstul lead pipes in both.
Rotary valve ports opened and fitted by Osmun.
Comes with later model Conn hard case and black leather Glenn Cronkhite double gig bag.
    All in excellent condition.
There are a few small dings in the bell section from quick mute changes.
Prior to re-lacquering the bell section was pristine with no dents, creases or patches and it had the original lacquer from the 1968.
The slide stockings have no visible wear.
I’m selling this horn because I developed “
Embouchure Dystonia,” an unusual focal task-specific condition affecting the muscles that control the flow of air into the mouthpiece, so I can no longer play.  I just want this horn to find a good home.  I’ll be very sad to part ways with it because it took me longer to find all the parts and have it built than the time I was actually able to play it.
Shipping and packing will be a flat 0 for USPS, and I will absorb any additional costs.
Everything will need to be shipped in two separate boxes.
I would be willing to arrange a Zoom meeting so prospective buyers could see all parts up close on my camera.  Happy bidding and may God bless.
