Affordable USA Vintage!
This is really cool. You are looking at a
Vintage 1920's Gordon Tenor Resonator Banjo.
Gordon was a house brand of the
Progressive Music Company.
Banjos bearing that brand were made by several different manufacturers. Some were made by
Bacon
in Groton, CT (makers of the famous Bacon & Day banjos). Others were made by Stromberg Voisonett (or Kay).
Here is a Real Nice Vintage U.S.A. Made Gordon Tenor Banjo with a Beautiful Resonator in Great Ready to Play Condition. Our luthier installed a new skin as well as strings and did a complete setup. Plays and Sounds Great.
It has 17 Frets along with Fancy inlaid Mother of Pearl on it's Fretboard, and a Straight Neck.
Our luthier did a complete setup. Brand new strings were installed. Gig ready on Arrival!

Due to CITES Treaty for Endangered Wood (Mahogany, Rosewood) We no longer ship out of the USA.
Cosmetics: Excellent Condition. Keep in mind that this is a 100 year old vintage banjo that has been played. The only real issue is there is a crack in the resonator. It doesn't go all the way through, so it is still one solid piece. There are some nicks and scratches.
Dripping with "Mojo". It is used. Not perfect. Overall, a really nice banjo. Look at the pictures closely. They will tell the story.
