    Description

Here is an antique trombone made by Frank Holton & Company in Elkhorn, WI as can be seen by the emblem on the black leather case.  It further says, "Makers of High Grade Band Instruments."  This was played by a musician in the Milwaukee Eagles Club Marching Band some time in the late 1920's to 1930's.
The case is worn, and the handle is loose on one side (there is a new handle included).  The other side of the case features a sticker from the Milwaukee Road ("The Hiawatha 2 A Day Each Way").  The case is lined in green velvet.
The trombone itself is beautifully engraved with flowers and leaves and has a band engraved around the horn that reads, "Revelation Made By Frank Holton & Co. Elkhorn, WI."  Please see the pictures for additional pieces in the case.  A folding music holder ("Lincoln") is also included in this package.
This has been in the same family since its purchase long, long ago, but due to moving it must find a new home.  It has been stored in a smoke-free house.
Ten percent of this sale will be donated to the Elmbrook Humane Society in Brookfield, WI.
