Takt batons are imported from India, and manufacturered from Talwar Brothers.  These high quality batons are lightweight, and come in a variety of different shapes, sizes, and woods.  The word TAKT is derived from the German word “
täkt
“,
which has it’s origin from the Latin word “
tactus
” meaning touch, or sense of touch.
TAKT or

is used for measurement of time in music, it denotes a  beat or a pulse
.
Takt Batons go through a series of quality checks from perfect balancing, to checking alignment with a laser, to polishing and packaging in climate controlled environment to minimize any possibility of warping due to temperature fluctuations.
Every TAKT Baton is precisely hand balanced to give the feeling of apparent weightlessness.
Careful balancing combined with light weight (7-12 grams) gives superb lightning fast response.
Finest, exotic hardwood handles are inlaid with mother of pearl, camel bone, brass and ebony.
The handles are glossy polished whereas the shafts are clear glossy or brilliant white.
Ebony and Rosewood (Tintul) handles with inlay.

Dot (Eye):
TAKT Elite, Super Maestro, and Maestro series batons have an elegant dot / eye design embellished onto the tip of the handle.
Dots are between 3mm – 6 mm in diameter as per the handle shape.
The LTD – Large Tear Drop shape is suited for most professional conductors.
The Large Tear Drop handle allows a better grip in the hands especially with gloves.
All Batons with LTD shape have a 15″ length shaft.

This Baton is called the Super Maestro Series, and  features a 15" White Carbon Fibre Shaft, a Large Tear Drop Shaped handle in Ebony, and with a Dot on the handle.  Large Tear drop shaped handles allow a better grip in the hands, especially wearing gloves.

Return Policy
Refunds are issued within 30 days of the date the customer's order is received. Merchandise and packaging MUST be in the same condition as when received. Items may be subject to a restocking fee up to 20%. Alto Music reserves the right to refuse any return if it appears the item has been used. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
