This heavy duty shipping case was made by a leading case company in the shipping case industry. It is constructed of thick 3/8" plywood with a thick PVC laminate surrounded by aluminum extrusion and permanently machine riveted together. It has recessed/surface mounted heavy duty spring loaded handles. There are no latches to hold the lid on simply because many times they are just not needed. The overlapping "shoe box" lid is a snug friction fit and will not simply come off unless the trunk is turned sideways which most people do not do. The inside is bare wood but can be customized to fit your needs. The reason that we can keep these prices down is because we can negate the intense work needed for tongue and groove extrusion need or expensive latches. A beautiful rugged case!
