    Original hand signed photograph of Sarah McLawler with her husband, violinist and composer Richard Otto. McLawler was an accomplished musician who began her career on the Negro Vaudevill circuit. She was a singer and and played several instruments. Early on in her career she formed the first all black female R&B group The Synchoettes. Otto would preform with McLawler as well as compose many of her hits. The duo recorded on Brunskwick Records, King, Columbia, Atlantic and Premium labels. Photo is hand signed by both along with an inscription. Rare. Measures 8" x 10" inches.
