    Description

    Holidays are coming up... play something cheery for folks!
    This is a Saga SS-10 model open-back banjo, a great player with an "old timey" look to it -- moons and stars.
    A quality asian-made banjo, it's currently set up for stroke-style playing, but could be adjusted for any style of banjo playing. It has an adjustable truss rod and sealed gear tuners. It has been upgraded with a tension tailpiece and compensated bridge. Notice that this one still has the thicker hoop, unlike the new SS-10s. See photos.
    See an old headstock-to-neck repair (circled in yellow) that's been completely solid, not affecting playability in any way (ever-so-faint  ripples in finish either side).
    Included is a leather vintage-style adjustable strap.
