    Description

    You are bidding on a Nikon Super Coolscan LS-5000 35mm slide and film scanner w/SA21 mount adapter.  This scanner is from a smoke free environment and was recently cleaned, lubed and inspected and operates perfectly.  There are minor blemishes on the case due to normal wear and I did my best to include as many photos as possible.  Here are the maintenance steps performed:
    1) mirror cleaned
    2) CCD and lens inspected and air cleaned
    3) rails, auto focus mechanism and gears lubed with teflon based lube.  No vaseline or petroleum based lube was used that will break down plastic gears.
    4) Autofocus cam gear inspected for wear
    5) Power supply capacitors inspected for failed electrolytic and replaced if necessary.
    6) all chassis parts and frame were washed in a detergent based solution.
    The scanner is ready for your scanning project!
