    About this scanner:
    USB based interface, compatible with most systems, though newer operating systems have to be finagled to work with the old software and drivers (all available for free from the Nikon website)
    Easily plug and play on XP or older windows systems
    Superb image quality
    High tech dust removal capability (digital ICE) and many other cutting edge features built into the Nikon scan V4 software
    There are LOTS of online resources and support available for these scanners, though set up and use is fairly straight forward on XP systems

    Cosmetically, this scanner shows normal signs of handling, however, front bezel/trim top bracket is broken, and cover is taped on - does not impact use or function in any way
