; for the first anniversary of the liberation ofthe infamous concentration camp: DACHAU, by the U.S. Army.   Arrivalof the 3rd. U.S. Army on April 29, 1945 at 12:00, and the arrival of the 7th.U.S. Army at 4:00 p.m.

A bit of info aboutthe: Day of Liberation at Dachau:
OnApril 29, 1945, the U.S. Seventh Army’s 45th Infantry Division liberates
Dachau
, thefirst concentration camp established by Germany’s
Nazi regime
. A major Dachau subcamp was liberated the same day by the42nd Rainbow Division.
On April 29, the Dachau maincamp was liberated by units of the 45th Infantry after a brief battle with thecamp’s remaining guards.
In the course of Dachau’shistory, at least 160,000 prisoners passed through the main camp, and9Incomplete records indicate that at least 32,000 of the inmates perished atDachau and its subcamps, but countless more were shipped to extermination campselsewhere.
Condition is asfollows: A nice vintage Presentation sheet. There is some edgewear/tears as well as well as touched/bent corners. The paper has a roll,just below the center of the sheet. You will notice this, in the first providedpicture.  There is also some, some age related toning, tothe paper.
