    Description

Monochord kit, build your own monochord
    Set consisting of:
    - 25 tuning pegs (5.0 mm x 50 mm)
    - 25 attachment pins (4.0 mm x 18 mm)
    - 1 tuning key (of course suitable for the above tuning pegs) square
    - 1 roll of string wire (0.50 mm diameter, 125 grams = approx. 81 meters)
This gives you all the materials that are not available in normal stores (e.g. hardware stores). Your creativity in terms of wood type and shape, etc. we consciously don't want to set any limits. With this set you are fully equipped to build your own string instrument / monochord / polychord or similar yourself.
For both the tuning pegs and the attachment pins, we recommend making a test hole beforehand. Drilling about 2 to 3 tenths of a millimeter thinner should fit well, depending on the hardness of the wood.
We chose the string gauge for this set because this is where the demand from our customers who wanted to build a monochord is greatest. In principle, however, we also have all the other strengths.
On request, we can adapt the number of pieces, string thickness, attachment pin diameter or tuning peg sizes, we will be happy to calculate an individual offer for you.
Please understand that we cannot provide remote assistance for the production of stringed instruments.
