    ANTIQUE AMERICAN FOLK ART FRETLESS BANJO w TINTYPE PHOTOGRAPGH IN INLAID NECK
    This interesting banjo has a fretless mahogany neck inlaid with bone (or a similar material)
    The Inlay includes an oval piece at the bottom of the neck with a tintype photograph set in the center.
    The man pictured in the photograph appears to be holding this banjo, (see last three pictures)
    The headstock is also inlaid and recessed with the tuner holes on the front as opposed to the sides.
    The total length of the banjo is 38 3/4 inches, with a 12 1/2-inch diameter pot that measures 3 1/2 inches wide.
    There are 14 tension hooks that have acorn shaped nuts (five nuts are missing).
    The neck appears to be straight and in very good condition!
    The banjo is missing all its tuners, its nut and five of the acorn shaped nuts as well as its tailpiece. It also needs a new skin.
