This is one of the most Breathtaking Banjos I have ever seen.  Not only is this a Jens Kruger with Koa and Kruger ring, the hardware is gold and exceptionally engraved.  This banjo is stunning and has been set up at the Banjo Warehouse.

Description
This began as the Top model of the Tenbrooks line before being included in the Artist Series.  This Banjo is a Custom version and features Koa on the neck and resonator.  This also features a radiused ebony fretboard. Jens prefers stainless steel frets because of the durability of the stainless steel. The frets wear longer before needing to be replaced. Before switching to stainless steel frets, Jens, who plays an average of 8 hours per day, was having his banjos re-fretted every 6 months. With stainless steel frets he has played for almost 2 years before having the banjo re-fretted; getting three times the playing life out of the frets!
The radiused fingerboard fits the curve of the fingers over the playing surface making it just that much more effortless to travel the fingerboard.
The hardware is gold and engraved, and engraved very well.  I have seen a LOT of Gold Engraved Hardware and this is arguably the most beautiful engraving I have ever seen.  Even the tuners and the front of the tension hoop are engraved.  There is no engraving on the tone ring but all of the rest of the metal including the armrest and tailpiece is heavily engraved.  This banjo is absolutely nuts.
The Jens Kruger model has significant resonance and clarity, elevating it to the caliber of orchestral instruments. The Jens Kruger banjo is designed to unlock the creativity for the dedicated musician.
Condition
This is in excellent to near mint condition.  This banjo was so clean we did not do our normal cleaning service to this.  All of the gold looks fantastic, very clean and I do not see any wear in the gold.  All of the finish is super clean all the way from the top of the neck to the bottom of the resonator.  The fretboard is also super clean and the frets appear to be untouched.  This has spikes at frets 7,8,9 and 10.  This is absolutely gorgeous and the case is near mint as well.
Set Up
This has been set up at the Banjo Warehouse.  The head is the original Deering frosted head and is set to 90.  The bridge is a radius bridge and the intonation is correct.  The strings are new Huber Truetone .10 gauge strings and the banjo is set up with nice string height.  This is a phenomenal player on top of being a work of art and possessing some major tone.
This is one of the finest possible banjos to get and this particular banjo is in near mint condition and set up and ready to go.  I want to mention since this is Used the Deering Factory Warranty Card can not be sent in but this does include our 7 day return guarantee.
