    Description
    This is a Pre War 1933 Gibson TB1 5 string convesion Banjo.  The banjo is a one piece flange Banjo and has a Huber HR30 Tone Ring and a Tim Davis neck.  This is absolutely a fantastic banjo for Pre War Tone, is all original with conversion parts and is set up and ready to go.
    This has a 3 ply hard rock maple shell with a maple neck and resonator each with white binding.  The hardware is nickel and all original including a one piece flange.  The neck is maple with a rosewood fretboard that has Hearts and Flowers inlay.
    This banjo does have some wear and has been played but is still in great shape for a nearly 100 year old banjo.  This also includes a hardshell case.
    Condition
    The banjo is in great shape for a Pre War Gibson with some normal signs of age.  The hardware is in fantastic shape and the flange has almost zero pull at all.  The metal looks great and we do not clean Pre War metal.  The finish on the resonator is original and is in overall good shape but there is some light surface scratching and a coat of checking.  The neck, fretboard and frets are also in great shape and there are no spikes, no 5th string capo and there has never been either.  This is definitely a played banjo but with little actual wear.
    Set Up
    The banjo has a Huber frosted head which is set to 90 and the strings are new Huber strings as well.  The bridge has no markings but is a quality bridge.  This banjo is not only a fantastic pre war banjo this has been set up to operate at maximum performance.
