    Description

Here is a beautiful pre-war Gibson banjo. This was born a TB-3 (tenor banjo) re-necked and converted to 5 string by Tom Morgan. Original no-hole tone ring, Mitchel tone ring mate which is a revolutionary design addition that allows you to utilize your pre-war ring and get that pre-war flat head sound out of an archtop banjo. Original uncut Gibson label. Professionally set up by Dick Smith with Snuffy Smith bridge and head. The nut width is 1 1/8″, scale length 26.5″. Great and desirable pre-war sound.
